Employment law advice


Advising you on the issues that arise in your workforce, from recruitment to termination – including:


  • Drafting, reviewing and updating employment documentation, such as contracts, handbooks and policies and procedures, to ensure they are legally compliant and offer you the best possible protection

  • Managing poor performance issues

  • Working with you to avoid and/or handle employee grievances and disciplinary hearings

  • Answering queries on maternity leave and flexible working requests

  • Guiding you through the redundancy process – be it individual or large scale

  • Advising you on the day-to-day HR issues that arise in the workplace.


Handling contentious matters


  • Negotiating dismissals and compromise agreements in order to protect the business' interests

  • Dealing with subject access requests under the Data Protection Act

  • Advising on discrimination questionnaires and drafting an appropriate response

  • Conducting independent investigations into allegations of discrimination, whistleblowing, harassment and victimisation, and compiling a report of my findings (which where appropriate will annex my recommended course of action)

  • Handling litigation in the Employment Tribunal – from case management to disclosure and witness statements.
